a week agoSimply amazing tacos. The barbacoa tacos are not overly greasy and delicious. They take their time, so be prepared to wait in the heat but it's worth it.

8 months agoThe staff at Matomoros Tacos are very friendly and kind! Everything I have eaten here has been excellent, for a reasonable price. One of my go-to spots for excellent tacos!

a year agoGreat tacos, great service. Will always recommend to my friends and family. Only suggestion is that the tacos could have a SMIDGE more meat. A few were a little deflated. But they were delish.

a year agoThis was absolutely delicious! The pollo torta was fresh and delicious, we got pastor and carnita tacos, they were a little dry but with the salsa and lime, top notch. The killer was the steak quesadilla, large portion! Listen, best out of all the food trucks on the Lamar/rundberg strip. I can’t say enough about how great this food was. Getting yelled at from inside the taco truck to come get our food was a little over the top as they took our names and we said where we would be seated. If i hadnt been watching the window, we would have never known our food was ready. They definitely paid more attention to the Latin crowd that showed up after the clubs nearby closed but it is what it is. I will absolutely be back as the food was incredible despite the small details they seemed not to worry about.

2 years agoWe get the chicken Gordita plate, Al pastor tacos and horchata every time! Food is really good, sauces are spicy…give it a shot!! The gorditas were $6.50 but they charged $3.75 for the tacos instead of $2.75 because we asked for flour tacos which was a little weird. If you don’t have cash, use a debit card instead of a credit card because they charge extra for the use of a credit card but will not tell you that.

Edited a year agoLove, Love, Love this place!! I have tried everything on the menu. My fav items are the chicken Torta or the Chicken Gorditas absolutely delicious!!! There might be some better ones around, but I've yet to find them. Prices have gone up a little bit still cheaper than anywhere else!! One of the few places I will give a perfect star rating!! Prices are great, location shady, parking sucks, but still my kinda place!!! I greatly recommend giving this place a try!! This is my hidden gem and this place now takes CC, yay!!!
